Deaf Shalom Zone: Empowering Communities
Every Friday morning, Deaf and hearing volunteers of all abilities gather on the lawn of Christ Deaf Church awaiting a van full of food. They help process donations, stock shelves and display produce and other goodies.
At noon, our friends and neighbors who are experiencing food insecurity are welcome to shop in our self select pantry for the food items which will help meet the needs of their families.
You can help too! Purchasing tickets to this event helps us keep the shelves filled with healthy food!
